Més d'un cop he acabat comentant amb gent diversa com cada any i potser, fins i tot, cada mes de la vida que vivim sembla que ens passi cada cop més ràpid. Potser només és conseqüència del fet que cada 365 dies que passen semblen menys comparats amb els que ja portem acumulats durant la nostra caòtica existència. Caòtica perquè sempre que sembla que controlem més aspectes de la nostra vida sempre ens acabem trobant amb sorpreses i imprevisions, car les variables a controlar són infinites.
I, probablement, tal i com diu la cançó, si mantenim les ganes de viure, el desig de ser jovial, la lluantor que d'això es desprèn, la nostra petjada en aquest món passi de ser un tros de grafit, mitjançant un llarg procés, a un diamant perfectament pulit, sense deixar de banda la petita "impuresa" personal que conferirà a aquesta joia una brillantor i un to únics.
